ABC Waterloo The Waterloo chapter of ABC Ontario is currently seeking more local volunteers to get involved. If you are interested in volunteering, taking on a leadership role or getting in touch with other families and educators in Waterloo Region, please contact us. Updates from ESQ at Univeristy of Waterloo **March Break Camps** March Break registration is NOW OPEN! We thank you for your patience as we moved to a new registration system, in order to fully comply with updated privacy standards. Please note everyone, regardless of whether you have previously attended ESQ camps, will be required to create a new user account. As a part of this move, in order to protect your privacy, we have confidentially deleted all previous information. Please provide all relevant information in your new account. March Break camps are available for students currently in Grades 1-3 (Darwin camp) or Grades 4-6 (Franklin camp). Registration is by day at a cost of $50.00 per day. This way you are able to register for the whole week, or whatever days you choose. For the program schedules and how to register please visit http://esq.uwaterloo.ca/index.php?q=node/30 . ** Engineering Explorations ** Engineering Explorations is an annual event held on the Monday evening of March Break, this year’s date will be Monday, March 15, 2010. At Explorations about 1000 grades 6, 7 and 8 students and their parents are taken on tours (lasting about an hour and a half) of Engineering displays. Each visitor sees a mix of displays from each of the many departments within Engineering. The tours start at either 5:00pm or 6:45 pm. to find out more and register!
